To have one of the most brazen political bribery scandals in American history play out before the country while nobody’s paying attention? In her first original podcast, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow goes back 45 years to dig into a story that got overshadowed in its day. There’s intrigue. Corruption. Envelopes of cash delivered to the White House. It’s a story that’s not well known, but it probably should be. Especially today. Bag Man. A Rachel Maddow podcast from MSNBC. Five years ago, Molly Weaver, Bryan Anderson, and Nathan Howell started a podcast focused on the local legend of a monster called The Blackwood Bugman. Quickly, the investigation grows out of their control, as they discover that, not only are the legends seemingly true, many people in Blackwood have turned up dead or disappeared without a trace. Worse, there may be a reason why no one has ever uncovered the truth before. Someone is watching them, willing to do whatever it takes to keep the secret. Their recordings have finally been released.

In the late 1980s and early 1990s, a white supremacist became an American political phenomenon. David Duke’s rise to power and prominence—his election to the Louisiana legislature, and then his campaigns for the U.S. Senate and the governorship—was an existential crisis for the state and the nation. The fourth season of Slate’s Slow Burn will explore how a Nazi sympathizer and former Klansman fashioned himself into a mainstream figure, and why some voters came to embrace his message. It will also examine how activists, journalists, and ordinary citizens confronted Duke’s candidacy, and what it took to stop him.

Are you tired of getting trite, outdated advice from fake experts that sounds too good to be true? You have a better chance with Google search than the majority of today’s podcast. Instead, join me, Gregory Favazza for a free-for- all on open mic with your industry leaders that make sense. I won’t do a ten- minute ad for my upcoming book, won’t talk over my guest when they’re sharing good advice, and I will shut someone down if they’re using glittering generalities to taint the dialogue or sharing something that’s irrelevant, I will call them out. I don’t go into politics, but I will ask the experts your burning questions, like is it normal that I’m staying up until 3 AM every night, why did I skip the gym last week, and why the f-ck can’t I stop cussing on my podcast? These questions or some variations of them are what I want to know. The experts of organizational leadership will go into these, and questions like them so that you can stop searching Google for yet another self-help blog. I want to illustrate what isn’t being taught anywhere, how to negotiate with yourself under pressure, the information is here, every week on Wednesday, from me. I will share my perspective with you, I’ll bring up my military experience, and I’ll relate multiple situations that can be dark, funny, or just plain out there. I have featured multiple types of guests, industry experts, unique hobbyists, coaches, former government members, other content creators, and even past friends. I want the audience to experience each lesson with me as I’m learning it. I’m embracing my vulnerabilities live in front of you so that you can learn to embrace yours. How can you create a transformation in others if there’s no transformation in yourself?

Now in their third year of In-Vitro Fertilization treatment, we documented Abbe and Isaac's experience so listeners can hear first-hand the intimate struggles of a couple experiencing infertility. They share their hopes, dreams, doctors appointments, and late-night fights and reveal an up-close, personal, and sometimes funny look at a couple longing to become parents in real time. Abbe and Isaac Feder met in the summer of 2008. For Isaac, it was love at first sight. Eventually, Abbe got on board. They were engaged a year later, and got married because of their love for one another, and also because they wanted to have children. After hearing stories from friends: warnings from their own bumps along the road, and trying to be as supportive as possible, they felt sure this was not one going to be their story. As it turns out, their story became extremely complicated.
