Noam’s love for radio began years ago, as a young boy in Trenton, New Jersey, when he would sneak his clock radio under the covers and listen to late night talk radio stars Sally Jesse Raphael, Irv Homer and Bernard Meltzer. Geeky perhaps, but a premonition for what was in store for him.
THE TROUBLE BEGINS…NOW! On John’s show you won’t hear all callers in agreement with the host all the time…you won’t hear the same myopic themes beaten to death day after day…you won’t hear the same newsmakers saying the same old thing. Instead, you’ll hear guests with something new and compelling to offer. And, of course, if there’s a big story (war, politics, culture, entertainment, immigration, religion – things people care about), John will be all over it and he won’t back down. Dissent is encouraged…all opinions are on the table.
On September 12, 2001, the day after the fall of the Twin Towers, WABC-AM in New York City recruited John Batchelor to go on the air until Osama bin Laden was either killed or captured. THE JOHN BATCHELOR SHOW NOW AIRS FROM 9 P TO 1 A, SEVEN DAYS A WEEK, IN NEW YORK AND WASHINGTON, D.C.

It is produced by Chicago Public Media, delivered to stations by PRX The Public Radio Exchange, and has won all of the major broadcasting awards. It is also often the most popular podcast in the country, with around one million people downloading each week. From 2006-2008, we produced a television version of This American Life on the Showtime network, which won three Emmys. We're also the co-producers, with NPR News, of the economics podcast and blog Planet Money. And a half dozen stories from the radio show are being developed into films. Page Publishing is a traditional New York based full-service publishing house who rolls out the red carpet for every one of our authors. We appreciate all genres- whether a work is romance, fiction, nonfiction, biographical, self-help or children's books, our experts will help transform it from rough draft to published hard copy and/or eBook available for consumer purchase at the world's largest retail book outlets. We handle all of the intricacies involved in publishing- like getting it onto bookstore shelves and generating royalties. We know that authors need to be free to create, not bogged down with complicated business issues like eBook conversion, establishing wholesale accounts, insurance, shipping, taxes and the like. Those tedious, complex and time consuming issues should be left to us, so that authors are free to do what they do best - writing and creating.
