Psalm 95:1-3 New International Version (NIV)
Psalm 95
1 Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord;
let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come before him with thanksgiving
and extol him with music and song.
3 For the Lord is the great God,
the great King above all gods.
Isaiah 6:1-8 New International Version (NIV)
Isaiah’s Commission
6 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3 And they were calling to one another:
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty;
the whole earth is full of his glory.”
4 At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.
5 “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.”
6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. 7 With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.”
8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

1 Samuel 12: 7-12 New King James Version (NKJV)
7 Now therefore, stand still, that I mayreason with you before the Lord concerning all therighteous acts of the Lord which He did to you and your fathers: 8 When Jacob had gone into [ a ] Egypt, and your fatherscried out to the Lord , then the Lord sent Moses and Aaron, who brought your fathers out of Egypt and made them dwell in this place. 9 And when theyforgot the Lord their God, He sold them into the hand ofSisera, commander of the army of Hazor, into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the king of Moab; and they fought against them. 10 Then they cried out to the Lord , and said,'We have sinned, because we have forsaken the Lord and served the Baals and [ b ] Ashtoreths; but now deliver us from the hand of our enemies, and we will serve You. ' 11 And the Lord sent [ c ] Jerubbaal, [ d ] Bedan,Jephthah, and Samuel, [ e ] and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies on every side; and you dwelt in safety. 12 And when you saw thatNahash king of the Ammonites came against you, you said to me, 'No, but a king shall reign over us,' when the Lord your God was your king.
